About
Paul Mickelbart, NSCA Certified Personal Trainer
Ever since childhood, I have been involved in athletics.
The older I got, the how’s and why’s of conditioning became just as important as the sport itself. I have competed in everything from collegiate and professional football to racing mountain bikes. Along the way, I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by incredibly gifted strength coaches and trainers. This has given me great passion and knowledge in the area of training. Through training I am able to share my knowledge and experience as well as motivate others as they work toward a healthier lifestyle.
I have worked with a wide and varied population of clients, from high school athletes to sedentary elderly people. No matter what their age or fitness level, people’s need and desire is generally the same. We all need to perform daily tasks safely, effectively and without injury, no matter if this is keeping up with the group during a ride or run, tackling a 225 lb. running back or navigating your icy driveway with a bag of groceries. Our desire is to look in the mirror and see a fit and healthy body. I address both of these concerns with every client. When we train in a purposeful or “functional” manner, I believe it is fun and fulfilling - exactly what exercise should be if it is to become a habit. When exercise as well as a healthy diet become habitual, a positive side affect is a strong and attractive body.
I look forward to working with you.
